As EU candidate country, Croatia is preparing for full participation in the Youth in Action Programme. In this context, a second phase of preparatory measures is underway to assist the country to become a Programme Country. This includes, among other activities, the possibility to support pilot projects, which will contribute to the capacity-building of both the staff of the National Agency that will be managing the Programme and potential beneficiaries. A new call for proposals has been published to support pilot projects under the following Actions/sub-Actions: youth exchanges (sub-Action 1.1), youth initiatives (sub-Action 1.2), youth democracy projects (sub-Action 1.3), Voluntary Service (Action 2) as well as training and networking activities (sub-Action 4.3). Applications can be submitted by the 1st of February, 1st of April or 1st of June 2010 by promoters established in Croatia to the Croatian National Agency.
