Participation of young people from Roma Communities
The Youth in Action programme enhances participation of all young people. A particular attention has been paid to the access of young people from Roma Communities, through annual priority focus in 2009 and 2010.
In the framework of measures taken to facilitate the access of Roma young people to the programme, a booklet is now available, informing on the structures and work already in place within Youth in Action, and giving inspiration for more initiatives with Roma Communities. It is of utmost importance for our youth EU programme to include young people from minorities, and any other less represented group of young people.
