European Voluntary Service Film Festival: 'CITIZEN, YES YOU KANE'

  • Start date : 27/03/2013 15:27:12

As 2013 is the ‘European Year of Citizens’ (http://europa.eu/citizens-2013/) , this is the perfect opportunity for young people to share their vision of citizenship.

The European Voluntary Service Film Festival http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xy6fn8_appel-a-film-concours-evs-film-festival_webcam#.UUDIoqJE98F is a video contest for young people to show what active citizenship means to them and exchange view points on civic engagement.

So, if you are under 35 years old and live in Europe, and if you are imaginative and creative, don’t hesitate to enter the contest by 22nd April 2013 by uploading a maximum ten-minute video. As for the language, as many people as possible should be able to understand your message. For this reason English or French would be ideal or you may provide subtitles to that effect.

The French Youth in Action national agency<http://www.jeunesseenaction.fr> is organising the contest in partnership with the city of Montreuil <http://www.montreuil.fr/>, Association Nationale des Conseils d'Enfants et de Jeunes (ANACEJ) <http://anacej.asso.fr/> and the organisation 'Tempo' http://www.tempoconnect.com/  with the support of the French Ministry for Youth.

More information about the contest is available here: http://www.tempoconnect.com/evsfilmfestival/
