The first State of the World’s Volunteerism Report is now available
Launch of the United Nations Volunteers' Volunteerism Report on 5th December
On December 5, the first State of the World’s Volunteerism Report (SWVR) by the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme was launched. The report aims to support the recognition, facilitation, networking and promotion of volunteerism worldwide. It gives an overview on voluntarism in the 21st century across the globe and clearly shows the important role of voluntarism in our societies.
