Association ‘Youth Tolerance’ is accredited organization 2007-BG-18 for admission and forward volunteers from and to the European Union and thus helps the development of the volunteer work in Gorna Oryahovitsa and other non-profitable organizations. Since 2006 the organization has admitted three volunteers and sent off seven. The present work shows positive influence over the community in accepting motivated volunteers from different European countries for stimulating the youth participation. The developed projects are a basis for gaining more experience and give opportunities for more activities in various directions. Our successful partnership with the town of Lqskovetz makes it another place to spread volunteer work. We work in favor of developing skills and abilities for personal and educational progress by informal education for the volunteer as well as for the youth community he is living in.
We have a youth center where youth and volunteers realize their initiatives, work in the field of civil education and development, arts, ecology, assistance of disabled children and of those in nonequivalent situation.
At the moment for volunteers are declared the following positions, which require and give opportunity for an informal spreading of knowledge about volunteer work as well as opportunity to motivate young people to participate in such activities in different countries in the EU.

First Position - The project „To reach a hand and accept the different”: The position is relevant to activity in the Day center for children with disabilities where the volunteer should take care of their free time. There are also participations in the arts group’s initiatives. Activity start 15.09.2009,2010,2011, duration 12 months.

Second Position – The project “Volunteer service – new horizons and friendships”: The position includes tutoring using informal education in Spanish, German or English classes in one of the biggest schools in town. Furthermore, extracurricular activities are possible in the free time. Activity start 01.09.2009,2010,2011, duration 10 months.

Third Position - Youth Center The project "United in diversity": The position is connected with work in the youth center with the local youngsters, including the Lqskovetz municipality. The aim is to motivate young people to participate in youth activities and make their free time useful. Activity start 01.09.2009,2010,2011, duration 12 months.

The organization helps actively young people for building European consciousness. This is the basic effect after Volunteer service that is why Association wishes to have possibility to send volunteers in other partner organizations to work there and to have share there experience.
From 2004 organization start to work with Program "Youth" - action 2 EVS and send volunteer Dian Yordanov in Sweden, Sundsval next year the organization send another volunteer, his name is Marin Krachynov in Finland and now the volunteer Iva Sharankova going again in Sundsval. In this period in our organization was worked 6 months volunteer from Slovenia. Working like that organization succeeds to prepare team from youth people. This team makes contacts and help in working with volunteer. Making campaign, presentations for new people to take part in EVS. Association Youth Tolerance is member of European youth network.

The association ".Youth Tolerance" arises as an initiative from parents from Gorna Oriahovitsa in 2002. The origimal concept consists of " building a bridge between the amateur and professional sphere of the development of the personality". The focus falls on full communication via diversity of points of view and the unification of the difference. All the known values are combined in an invovatory view into the future.
Activities:
- Provocating in a permanent social debate on questions of the individual potential, self-realization and support of the personality, group building and work.
- Organizing of discussions, seminars, conferences, trainings and cultural meetings and other.
- Work with national agencies and non-governmental national and international organizations in order to raise the modern status of culture and education.
- Popularizing experience and basic priority-activities of related European societies and organizations, devoted to the forming of an active citizenship and critical thinking.
- Gives help to of developing an active dialog, exchange of information and experience between the young people and working non-governmental and governmental structures on the local, national and international level.
- Spreading current information about and from the Eurpean Union and charity initiatives directed towards strenthening the interests of the young people.
- Encourage, support and organize charity initiatives
- Spread information for organizations financing active citiyenship.
- It actively works for raising the level of the club " Volunteer" assists for the development od the volunteer activities in the town.
