Volunteer profiles and recruitment process
****************************************************
Profile:
*********
Concerning the profile of the selected volunteers : No special qualifications is needed to participate in the different activities of our project. The most important thing is the wish to work in a team together with children to be ready and motivated for the various activities that our stucture could propose to the volunteer.
The volunteer should be able to adapt himself
Also, the fact that the volunteer lives together with other volunteers in the same flat, he or she must respect and be tolerant with the others and be responsible and autonom for the common duties (cleaning, cooking etc.)

Recruitment:
**************
The recruitment will be made in cooperation with the coordinating organization MJC de Graulhet, whom will be the contact point on the data basis. The MJC de Graulhet will use its partners' network to inform them about this project and will treat the applications.
All the partners are regularly informed by e-mail about our EVS vacancies. All the candidates are asked to send complete application forms and motivation letter, explaining their personnel interests, motivation and experiences allowing a first selection, respecting openness and transparency, trying to give an equal chance to everyone. For the volunteers interested in this project: the applications will be handed at the Ludothèque which will interview a limited number of volunteers by telephone to clarify if their profile matches with the activities foreseen. All the interested volunteers are also invited to join the ludothèque for some days to test if the project is suitable for them.
The future volunteers have the possibility to contact directly our volunteer who is doing his EVS in our association to have more information about the project, the practical conditions etc.
The volunteer will work with the professional staff of the Ludothèque, he/she will be the ‘European surplus” and all his/her help and initiative is welcome, but he/she will never be alone responsible for the activities and each activity is always able to be run also without the EVS. In this given framework they never substitute for our regular staff.
