All organisations located in Programme Countries and South East Europe that are interested in sending or hosting EVS volunteers, or in coordinating an EVS project need first to be accredited. Accreditation is given on the basis of an Expression of Interest submitted to National Agencies or SALTO South East Europe (for details on the accreditation process, please refer to the Youth in Action Programme Guide.

This database contains information on all the organisations that are accredited for EVS. Each organisation is presented through a short description, its motivation and EVS experience, the themes of work and contact details. It also informs if the organisation offers possibilities for young people with fewer oppportunities.

In addition, for all accredited host organisations, you find a description of the project environment, activities and volunteer profiles.

• To base your search only on the country of destination is a risk...
  ... since waking-up every morning in Spain, Hungary or Iceland is not enough to give the smile on the face of a volunteer. Being involved in a project the volunteer believes in is the key to having a great and enriching time, no matter the country!
• Take a clear decision on what you want to go for...
  ... because there are hundreds and hundreds of organisatioins in this database. Go for some combinations of countries and themes, and choose a dozen of organisations that you believe merit further exploration for partnerships.
• While selecting your potential partners, take into account that...
  ... Expressions of Interest are the very early ideas of what kind of project could take place. It will be up to the volunteer, the coordinating, sending and host organisations to turn it into a proper activity, taking into account everybody's ideas, skills, interest, expectations and needs.
