European youth platforms

Youth Forum Jeunesse
The European Youth Forum is an international organisation gathering about 100 national youth councils and international non-governmental youth organisations. It represents youth organisations in international institutions - mainly the European Union, the Council of Europe and the United Nations.

Association of Voluntary service Organisations (AVSO)
AVSO is an international non-governmental organisation, which forms a European platform for national and international non-profit organisations active in the field of longer-term voluntary service.

Training activities

SALTO
SALTO stands for Support for Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities. It provides youth work and training resources and organises training and contact-making activities.

Training-Youth
The website of the partnership agreement on training between the Council of Europe (Directorate General IV: Youth and Sports) and the European Commission (DGEAC: Directorate General Education and Culture).

The Council of Europe
This institution gathers 46 countries across the "big Europe". Training activities for trainers or youth workers are provided within the frame of two European Youth Centres (Budapest and Strasbourg). Youth activities are supported through the European Youth Foundation.
