The mainstreaming in the field of health aims at fostering the well-being of young people and supporting them in leading a healthy lifestyle. In this context the Youth Policies Unit cooperates within the Commission on tackling health problems linked to life-style related health determinants like alcohol, tobacco, drugs, HIV/Aids, nutrition or mental health.

Health and safety at work place is another topic of the Youth dimension in other policies. Cooperation partners in these fields are
