Feedback on Roadmaps and Inception Impact Assessments
'Roadmaps' and 'Inception Impact Assessments' inform about new initiatives, evaluations and fitness checks planned by the Commission. You have the possibility to provide feedback by expressing your views right from the start of the Commission's work on these initiatives.
Early feedback on all roadmaps and inception impact assessments is welcome particularly in relation to evaluation and fitness checks where external studies are likely to be launched within 4 weeks following publication of the roadmap.
Feedback on Commission Proposals
After the Commission has adopted a legislative proposal, it is published in the Register of Commission documents. You have the possibility to provide feedback by expressing your views on the Commission proposals during a period of 8 weeks after adoption. The Commission will collect your views and present them to the European Parliament and the Council.
Feedback on Draft Delegated and Implementing Acts
At a later stage it will also be possible to provide feedback on the drafts of delegated and implementing acts. These acts set out technical or specific elements necessary to further define or implement the legislation adopted by the European Parliament and the Council. The possibility for stakeholders to provide feedback on the drafts of these acts for a period of four weeks will be implemented following the conclusion of the Inter Institutional Agreement on Better Regulation between the Commission, the European Parliament and the Council, which is currently under negotiation.
