|Objective of Agreement||
The objective of the present agreement is to help to fulfil the objectives of full and effective cooperation between the Parties on matters of common interest relating in particular to defence and security issues.
The agreement contain rules on security procedures for the exchange of classified information and material in any form and in any field either provided or exchanged between the Parties.

Treaty EU: Article 24
The Council Decision 2011/292/EU of 31/03/2011 on the security rules for protecting EU classified information has been replaced by Council Decision 2013/2488/EU of 23/09/2013 on the security rules for protecting EU classified information and this has been notified to Israel.
