Organising an information visit to the European Commission
Groups only – of 15 or more people (e.g. schoolchildren aged 13 and over, students, professional or other groups, etc.) including the general public.
The Commission cannot arrange public visits for individuals.
Belgian visitors can contact the Commission office in Belgium 

to organise a visit.
The Commission office in Luxembourg
also organises information visits.
There are 3 basic types of visit:
A general talk on the EU institutions (in the language of the group where possible), followed by a question and answer session. Suitable for schoolchildren aged 15 or over and people with little or no previous knowledge of the EU.
A short pedagogical introduction to the EU, a tour of the Visitors' Centre and a chance to learn more about the work and functioning of the EU via a series of interactive games. For schoolchildren aged 13-15.
A general introduction and a presentation on a specific EU policy of direct interest to the group. Aimed at undergraduate students and high school groups aged 15 or over.
A tailored programme for postgraduate and research students lasting up to one day and comprising of a series of talks (maximum 5) given by Commission officials.
A half or whole day programme for professional groups (e.g. lawyers, teachers, youth workers, business associations, trade unions), and other interest groups or associations such as women's organisations, religious groups.
We tailor these visits to focus on topics of interest to your group, providing direct contact with Commission officials dealing with the issues you care about.
Fill in the online application form. Given the large number of applications we receive, we usually need at least 10 weeks' notice to arrange a visit.

For security reasons, we don't organise guided tours of Commission buildings.
