The European Commission has just announced new recruitment rounds for three categories of specialised staff: archivists, IT specialists and managers for a wide variety of development aid fields such as agriculture, forestry, economics and fisheries.

All of the positions require at least 6 years work experience and have a basic starting salary of around £50000 per year (gross). The archivists and IT staff will be likely to be based in Brussels, whereas the aid management staff will predominantly based in a Delegation outside the EU. All staff must speak one official language of the EU plus English, French or German.
