People who buy an iPhone in one EU country, but need to get it repaired in
another, for whatever reason, will now find their lives a bit easier, thanks to
the European Commission. The EC was concerned that Apple's rules that a
warranty only applied in the country of purchase didn't fit with the idea of a
Single Market. So Apple has agreed to introduce cross-border warranty repair
services across all EU and European Economic Area countries.
