A few places are still available for a major conference on "Food for the
21st Century" to be held at the European Parliament in Brussels
on 8 July.
The conference will provide an opportunity to examine case studies of
success stories in this area from the European Union's Research Framework
Programmes and will look to the future of food research. Past projects include
using bread to improve nutritional quality, the bioactivity of cereal grains
and monitoring safety in the food chain.
The conference is open to all those with an interest in the food sector,
from public and private sector, media, charities and NGOs. If you are
interested, please
register here by 4 June.
