A Photography Exhibition on the History, Culture, Tourism, Arts and Ancient Crafts in the European Adriatic Territory

Adristorical Lands is an EU-funded project that promotes the cultural values of the Adriatic territories, enhancing local identities and promoting tourism based on the appeal of historical villages, walled cities, castles and cultural sites.

This exhibition focuses on the hidden treasures of countries bordering the Adriatic including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Renowned photographers from these countries have been asked to capture the most significant sites, including ancient walled towns and artists' homes and studios. Come on a visual journey to see and experience the Adriatic's east and west coasts and understand how they are linked by a strong bridge of communication and culture.

The exhibition also covers multimedia work that illustrates cultural cross border projects between all countries mentioned, including Android smartphone apps for public and private monuments and videos showing the real experience of the “Adriatic crossing”, the aim of this 3-year project.
