Justine Blau  Alberto Fiori  Fion Gunn

Altered Landscapes is a multi media exhibition by 3 European visual artists: Justine Blau (Luxembourg), Alberto Fiori (Italy) and Fion Gunn (Ireland).

The exhibition is a visual conversation between Blau, Fiori and Gunn about how they interpret the world around them. They use different media and have different viewpoints but converge in their aesthetic and thematic approach.

All three artists celebrate the colour, detail and emotional impact of the landscapes they describe and all three analyse, dissect and hold these celebrations up to scrutiny. Their sensibility is of the moment not just in London or European terms but in a global, international context.  These complex, aesthetically rich works takes landscape into new zones of exploration.

Here is a return to visual meticulousness and fascination with complexity and detail, a return which is occurring in every continent and every arts district from Beijing’s 798 to New York’s Lower West Side.
