Event details for "What it's really like working for the EU" – 9 May 2011 Careers Day

This networking event on the 9 May 2011 will give students, teachers, careers advisers and anyone seeking a career change a chance to talk to people currently working for the EU civil service in a range of jobs, from interpreters and translators to scientists, policy-makers to clerical and secretarial support.

Attendance at the event is free, with required prior registration to allow you to receive an individual schedule personalised according to your interests.

    The timetable for the event is:

     9.00 - 10.00  Morning session registration, participants receive personalised timetables

     10.00 - 12.00  Morning participants have 20-minute sessions with up to 6 speakers

     12.00  Afternoon session registration opens, participants receive personalised timetables

     12.30 – 13.30  EPSO presentation on how to apply followed by Q&A

     13.30 - 14.00  Afternoon registration

     14.00 - 16.00  Afternoon participants have 20-minute sessions with up to 6 speakers

     16.00  Event ends.
