"Harnessing technology to promote healthcare efficiency and social
inclusion"
The European Commission invites you to a half-day conference to
promote discussion and debate among experts and practitioners and guide future
EU policy direction in the context of the Digital Agenda for Europe.
The Director General for Information Society and Media (INFSO),
Robert Madelin will give the keynote speech and a panel of experts will
take up some of his themes and discuss them with our invited audience.
The Digital Agenda for Europe is one of seven flagship
initiatives in the Europe 2020 programme to restore economic growth and
employment. Digital technologies have enormous potential to benefit our
everyday lives and tackle social challenges, while the use of ICT can
revolutionise health services and deliver better public services.
We look forward to debating with you the opportunities and
challenges these policies present.
