There are a number of key EU information providers throughout Northern Ireland including:

Europe Direct - NI

The European Commission supports one Europe Direct information centre in Northern Ireland, which provides EU information at local level.

Euroconsumer 

Euroconsumer is part of the European Consumer Centre Network.  It provides information and advice on consumer law in the UK and within the European Union and how those laws can be enforced.  Euroconsumer also provides information, advice and assistance about problems with goods and services that you have bought in certain countries in Europe.

European Documentation Centres (EDCs)

European Documentation Centres (EDCs) provide the academic community in their region, especially students and researchers, with access to EU documentation.  They promote and develop study in the field of European integration and enjoy privileged access to EU databases.  EDCs are supported by the European Commission.

Enterprise Europe Network

The Enterprise Europe Network is the largest network of contact points providing information and advice to EU companies on EU matters, in particular small and medium sized enterprises.

European Resource Centre

The European Resource Centre provides information on Europe for teachers, students and young people and supports the development of the European dimension in the curriculum.

Belfast City Council European Affairs Unit

 Belfast City Council's European Affairs unit aims to raise awareness locally of European issues and how Belfast has benefited from European support.  It also promotes the new opportunities presented by an enlarged European Union.

Northern Ireland Local Government Association (NILGA)

NILGA is the representative voice of Local Government in Northern Ireland. 

Northern Ireland MEPs

Northern Ireland has three MEPs.  They are Diane Dodds, Bairbre de Brún and James Nicholson.
