Wednesday 13 April 2011 from 14:30 to 18:30
European Commission's Charlemagne Building, Rue de la Loi 170, 1040 Brussels
Within the framework of the 2011 European Union Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) , the European Commission organised a Conference on Future Transport Fuels which took place at the European Commission's Charlemagne building in Brussels on Wednesday 13 April from 14:30 to 18:30.
The conference served as a platform for wider discussion between key representatives from relevant European institutions and stakeholder associations on the European Commission's strategic initiative on Clean Transport Systems (CTS). The main objective of this initiative was to develop a long-term European strategy on alternative fuels substituting for oil in the whole transport sector.
The Report of the European Expert Group on Future Transport Fuels [4 MB] , as published on 25 January 2011, constituted an important input for the debate at the conference.
Further information about the programme and registration can be found on the EUSEW website .
