As requested by the Eurovignette Directive, the Commission is examining the best ways to identify, assess and internalise external costs for all transport modes. In this framework a public consultation has been carried out which will be presented and discussed at a stakeholder conference which will be attended by M.Barrot, Vice-President of the Commission in charge of Transport.
