The main objective of the motorway priority project No 7 is to provide significant improvements to the road network of south-eastern Europe.
The motorway will link the capitals and the main cities of the region, and will connect the ports of Patras, Igoumenitsa, Athens (Piraeus), Thessaloniki and Constanta to the heart of the enlarged European Union.
