The aim is to conduct a US/European international study to assess the performance of on-site oral fluid drug tests to detect illegal drug use among drivers failing a standard field sobriety test, i.e. driving under the influence suspects. The project is conducted by scientists working in collaboration with local police. A primary goal of this study would be to evaluate innovative oral fluid drug detection technology for use by police either at the roadside or at a police station.
