The use of seat belts and child restraint systems is MANDATORY (Directive 91/671/EEC as amended). Specific exemptions from the mandatory use of seat-belts and child restraint systems are not provided.
Specific rules in force as regards signalling which precedes the red light are not provided. Nevertheless, failing to stop at a red traffic light may be fined up to 599 Euro. In case of repeated offenders, driving ban up to 6 Months may be applied.
