Commission to improve the situation for truck drivers at the Russian border
With a budget of 3.500.000 Euro, the European Commission is going to support the construction of quality and secure parking areas at three border crossing points between the EU and Russia (Vaalimaa/Finland, Narva/Estonia, Terehova/Latvia).

Relations with non-EU countries

As regards passenger transport the INTERBUS agreement covers occasional services between the Community and Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, FYROM and Moldova.

The agreement provides for a harmonised regulatory framework to facilitate passenger services betweens these countries
