Reports
The
Commission's Directorate-General for Competition publishes a
twice-yearly State Aid scoreboard. The full
report, as well as previous reports, show that the transport
sector accounts for a significant amount of Euros state aid granted in
the European Union. The aids granted to the railway sector are
almost exclusively provided to the railway network for
infrastructure investments and public service contracts and
obligations in passenger transport.
