Accounting for at least 10% of Europe’s GDP, the logistics sector is a key driver for the European economy.
What are today’s and tomorrow’s challenges for the logistics sector?
How can the European Commission help in establishing the right framework conditions to support logistics companies in facing these challenges and to enable them to further prosper?
How can we safeguard the EU's competitive position in the global market?
A high-profile Logistics Conference addressing these topics will take place under the auspices of the European Commission in Brussels on 7th and 8th November 2013. In particular the following topics will be highlighted: e-Freight supporting collaborative and flexible freight transport logistics, simplification and reduction of administrative burden – a case for eMaritime, importance of infrastructure and nodal points for efficient logistics, innovative logistics concepts, and green and sustainable logistics.
The outcome of discussions will directly feed into the European Commission work in 2014 to develop a logistics strategy in follow-up to the Freight Transport Logistics Action Plan the European Commission had launched in 2007.
We invite you to have a look at the programme on our conference website http://eulogisticsconference2013.com/ . If you are interested to participate, please complete the registration form available at the website.
