Simplifying and updating the text of the Third Package, the Air Service Regulation now provides the economic framework for air transport in the European Community setting out the rules on
- the grant and oversight of operating licences of Community air carriers,
- market access,
- aircraft registration and leasing,
- public service obligations,
- traffic distribution between airports and
- pricing.
Table of decisions by Member States to grant, suspend or revoke operating licences
The European Commission is required to publish the list of decisions of the competent licensing authorities, to grant, suspend or revoke operating licences in the EU's Official Journal every year under article 10 of Regulation 1008/2008
on common rules for the operation of air services in the Community.
At the same time, a table presenting details about valid licences and licences that have been revoked or suspended will also be published regularly on the website of the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport.
