Gathering representatives from infrastructure, vehicle, operation, fuel and research sectors, this group of 15 fed its thoughts into what has been presented as a 2050 vision report

Vice-President Kallas made it clear that, together with Ms Geoghegan Quinn, he is determined to shift the approach from a supply-driven towards a truly demand-driven one: EU research money should be spent on real industrial priorities with a clear EU added value, so as to preserve EU growth and competitiveness worldwide, whilst meeting our energy and environmental challenges.
