Workshop "Prospects of inland navigation within the enlarged Europe", 24 February 2005
On 24-25 February 2005, the European Commission organised a workshop at which the main recommendations of the PINE study were discussed. Member States, professional organisations representing the Inland Waterway transport sector and other interested parties actively participated in the discussions which focused on five subject areas:
- Market requirements
- Fleet
- Human resources
- Image and promotion
- Infrastructure
