International Aviation - EC-ICAO Symposium on Regional Organizations
10 and 11 April 2008, Montreal
The European Commission, in cooperation with ICAO, organized a Symposium on Regional Organizations on 10 and 11 April 2008 at ICAO Headquarters, Montreal, Canada.
The Symposium was attended by more than 160 delegates from almost 100 countries and Regional Organisations from around the world. The Symposium underlined the growing importance of Regional Organisations being a key solution to many problems facing international aviation today and in the future. ICAO was called upon to strengthen its collaboration with Regional Organisations and their representation in the work of the Organisation.
