DENOMINACIÓN
Se ha inscrito en el registro de asociaciones del Ministerio del Interior, número de registro 169 763 de la sección 1ª y fecha de registro 09-10-2002 la asociación EUROSENIOR. Con esta denominación nace un “sindicato” eu-ropeo del siglo XXI para los mayores, basado en la utilización de la red Internet.
En estos momentos esta asociación, con una comisión gestora que asume las funciones de la Junta Directiva, se encuentra “dormida” a la espera de la puesta en funcionamiento del portal EuroSenior.net. Inicialmente la creación de este portal lo asumirá la asociación madre Consell Sènior de Premià de Mar.
Una vez conseguido el funcionamiento operativo de este portal, se plantea “despertar” la asociación hija EuroSenior y crear una Junta Directiva formada por miembros de diferentes asociaciones, de ámbitos territoriales también diferentes.
MISIÓN
Impulsar, promover y facilitar el funcionamiento de la red europea EuroSenior.net, dentro del contexto de la UE, sustentado en el estado del bienestar social, elemento básico e irrenunciable para su funcionamiento.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
Aspirar a convertirse en la gran organización sènior europea, que haga posible a sus miembros, tener un peso específico importante en la UE, hasta llegar s ser su principal grupo de influencia.
Funcionar como una organización moderna, con una estructura de red, ampliamente socializada, sin jerarquías y sin ánimo de lucro que utiliza las nuevas tecnologías.
