| Obiettivi e compiti dell’organismo: |
The project FROM THE DANUBE TOWARDS THE DANUBE can be described as observing the geographical areas in their entirety as natural boundaries between different cultures and the richness of their biodiversity from the aspect of artistic, scientific and spiritual superstructure through a commitment to the international character of the Danube Basin.
The transparency of our work is reflected in 11 published issues of the international magazine for literature and culture of the Danube Basin countries “Saint Danube”, where besides the texts by famous literary, artistic and scientific names one could also find some texts on the touchy topics referring to the results of the River Danube explorations conducted so far, but the explorations of its basin in the wider sense as well. As Miroslav Antić said in one of his writings dedicated to the Danube: … springs flow into brooks, brooks into rivers, rivers into seas, seas into oceans…, the international character of the Danube Basin has been shaped with the view upon the global inter-nationality. Several years later the NGO World and the Danube was founded.
From the Danube towards the Danube is a virtual space of the media station situated on a boat (international platform intended for a long exploitation). Creating a new platform as a healthy base for the quality distribution of art, science and healthy policy of different peoples’ coexistence in one geographical area is the mission we are not deviating from, not even after our ten-year-long dedication to the same. By sailing our common waters, by communicating with the similar and the different, by educating children and youths year after year, we have been developing a business strategy in a positive civilization sense.

International cooperation between geopolitical, scientific and economic space through intercultural-economic dialogue of all Danube countries could be a new way and the new generation energy and possibility for cooperation.
In order to achieve its goals as an non-government organization
"World and Danube" especially:
Collects and processes the information from the fields of culture, science and art of the Danubian countries.
Organizes, professional meetings, seminars, counselings and other forms of the stimulation of the professionals in the different fields of specialization at the international level, independently or in the cooperation with some other organization,
Publishes books, magazines, and other printed professional material in the fields of culturology and contemporary literature of the Danubian countries and others.
Cooperates with the universities, professional and other associations within the country and abroad that are involved in the development of the positive consciousness about the necessity of the dialogue.

Engages, cooperates and makes partnerships with everyone who can offer the quality, service etc. relating to the project, an all in order to improve the work of the NGO "World and Danube", and also in order to develop and unify the cultural scene and promoting the contemporary forms of the protection of the copyrights. (The Laws about the copyright at the international level)
From 2010. The NGO World and Danube become very active as partner in the network Danube Civil Society Forum.
