The Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies is the trade organisation for the Swedish haulage industry. We work for a sound and profitable development of the haulage industry.
We monitor the haulage industry’s interests nationally and internationally. We assist our member companies’ needs in business development, influence public opinion and are involved in lobbying activities. Our aim is to boost the entire Swedish haulage industry, making it visible and raising the industry’s status.

The Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies uses its position as the leading Swedish association of operators of road, rail and combined transport nationally and internationally to contribute to and assist in the shaping of the Swedish and the European transport policy to ensure a sustainable future for its members.
The Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies involves itself in a reliable and trustworthy manner with other stakeholders and decision makers on a national level and on a European level.
The main areas of interest concern:
Road transport legislation such as rules for access to the market and to the profession, driving and rest time rules, working time, professional training, vehicles weights and dimensions, transport of life animals, energy taxation and road charging. Logistics initiatives promoting a sustainable and efficient transport and logistics system in Europe, including chairing the Commission working group on bottlenecks.
Environmental legislation relevant for transport relating to emission reductions, biofuel, energy efficiency, noise. Rail transport policy legislation relating to market access, environment and technical issues.
