LUKOIL is one of the world’s leading vertically integrated oil & gas companies. Main activities of the Company are exploration and production of oil & gas, production of petroleum and petrochemical products, marketing and distribution of petroleum products, power production.
LUKOIL is the third largest private oil company worldwide by proven hydrocarbon reserves. The Company has around 0.8% of global oil reserves and 2.2% of global oil production. LUKOIL is carrying out international exploration and production projects in Azerbaijan, Colombia, Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Romania, Russia, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Vietnam.
LUKOIL owns modern refineries, gas processing and petrochemical plants located in the EU and Russia. Company's production is sold on the international markets. LUKOIL owns refineries in Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Russia The Netherlands and Ukraine. LUKOIL petroleum products are sold in Europe, Russia, and the US.
As of 2013 the Company operates in 43 countries, of which 17 are members of the EU (including Croatia), and 4 are countries that are official candidates for membership.
LUKOIL shares are listed on London Stock Exchange.
