Goals / remit
| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
World Solidarity wants to structurally change this injustice, by providing sustainable long-term solutions to the people in the South. How? By giving people in the South the opportunity to organize themselves, so they can stand up for their rights. By means of a trade union, a women’s organisation, a youth or senior citizens’ association, a mutual health association or a cooperative. All these social movements strive in their own way for decent work, social protection and job creation, which are essential for sustainable and human development.
