Der VKE-Kosmetikverband, Berlin wurde 1952 in Frankfurt am Main gegründet und nimmt die gemeinsamen Berufs- und Fachinteressen der Distributeure bzw. Hersteller selektiv vertriebener Duft- bzw. Kosmetikprodukte in Deutschland wahr. Mitglieder des VKE sind heute über 50 deutsche Vertriebstöchter ausländischer Stammhäuser bzw. inländische Kosmetikproduzenten, die über 200, zum Teil weltbekannte Marken und einen Umsatz von ca. 2 Mrd. € repräsentieren.

Der VKE – Verband der Vertriebsfirmen Kosmetischer Erzeugnisse e.V. wurde am 31. August 1952 in Frankfurt/M. gegründet mit dem Ziel der Wahrnehmung und Vertretung der gemeinsamen Berufs- und Fachinteressen der mit der Einfuhr von Parfümerien, Kosmetika und Seifen befaßten deutschen Distributeure und Herstellerfirmen, welche die entsprechenden ausländischen Produkte direkt importieren bzw. im Lizenzwege herstellen oder herstellen lassen.
