The city of Malmö has access to ERDF and ESF funding in Sweden, thus runs a large number of projects locally in Sweden. Furthermoe, the city has access to INTERRET VIA Öresund, program. The city works and uses a number of European funding opportunities such as FP7, Cultural, Environmental, Educational, Training, Social programs. The city has adopted an energyplan and is a member of Covenant of Mayors. The city has rund Concerto and Civitas projects. Currently is receiving ELEN funding from EIB and the European Commission. The city follows current European Politics in the CoR and the EUP (Certain committees) The city is heaviliy involved with the implementation of EU2020 as well as the future of the European Cohesion politics.
