The National Energy Foundation is an independent UK charity (not for profit organisation) dedicated to improving the use of energy in buildings and raising the energy literacy of citizens. It works towards these objectives through undertaking projects and capacity building in the areas of energy efficiency, suitable integration of small scale renewable energy, supporting standardisation, and better energy management with the aim of reducing carbon emissions and providing safe and sustainable energy for all. Established over 25 years ago, it is independent of all commercial interests and seeks to provide impartial advice and support to individuals, communities, public bodies and SMEs.

Participant in EU collaborative projects including:
ACE Academy for Champions of Energy (Interreg)
Potential Participant in a number of Horizon 2020 projects
Ran a small number of events to coincide with EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)
Although 25% stated, true figure is nearer 10% as commenting on EU initiatives is incidental to our activities and not a major part of our work.
