Der Klinikverbund Südwest ist einer der größten kommunalen Klinikkonzerne mit über 4.300 Mitarbeitern.

| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
Der Klinikverbund Südwest besteht aus 4 Krankenhäusern an 6 regionalen Standorten sowie weiteren Tochtergesellschaften. 4.300 Mitarbeiter behandeln über 70.000 stationäre und 200.000 ambulante Patienten. Abgedeckt werden die beiden Landkreise Böblingen und Calw mit über 530.000 Einwohnern. Zum Klinikverbund gehören ein Versorgungszentrum, eine Energiegesellschaft und diverse Medizinische Kompezenzzentren.
Langjährige intensive Krankenhauspartnerschaften bestehen mit Häusern in Litauen, Uganda und Mauretanien. Austausch von Mitarbeitern wird mit Häusern in Schweden, Niederlande, Österreich und früher noch Frankreich und England gepflegt.
Der Klinikverbund will diese Partnerschaften noch intensivieren und strebt gemeinsame Projekte an.
