- operationele ondersteuning en duiding aan haar leden geven inzake fiscale, sociale, milieu & maritieme wetgeving. Hiervoor wordt nauw samengewerkt met alle betrokken nationale en internationale partijen.
- als Belgisch maritiem kenniscentrum een voortrekkersrol spelen bij de verdere uitbouw en lange termijn groei van de sector internationaal maritiem transport over zee
