Landbrug & Fødevarer – Danish Agriculture and Food Council –is a private organization representing Danish farmers, producers and their cooperatives.
The membership of Landbrug & Fødevarer consist of local farmers' unions, industry organizations within the food sector, larger cooperative food companies and other related companies.
The objective of Landbrug & Fødevarer is to:
- represent and promote the interests of the farming and food industry, nationally and internationally
- strengthen the competitiveness of the sector
- build public understanding of the importance of the sector
Landbrug & Fødevarer's representative office in Brussels are involved in activities related to the objectives of the organization:
- following and influencing EU-policies and legislation
- establishing contacts within the European Commission and the European Parliament and other institutions

This office fulfills a number of tasks other than direct lobbying, including gathering of information, making analysis and reports, participating in European organizations and networks.
