Goals / remit of the organisation: The function of UPEI within Europe is:

to ensure equitable trading conditions for our members
to promote a competitive market
to encourage efficiency of oil supply, retailing and consumption
to represent the views of our members to legislative bodies
to secure equal and equitable treatment for our members in the formulation of laws and regulations (taxes, security stock regulations, quality standards, biofuel mandates etc.)
