The Holland Shipbuilding Association (Scheepsbouw Nederland) is the joint organisation of Holland Marine Equipment Association (suppliers) and the Netherlands’ Shipbuilding Industry Association (VNSI). Together with its associated organisations, the Holland Shipbuilding Association employs a total of 30 employees.
Holland Marine Equipment Association
The Holland Marine Equipment Association stimulates the development of technical innovations and clustering of know-how, and strengthens the presence of the membership in foreign markets. Member companies are active in the fields of maritime engineering & contracting, fabrication of installations and components, the supply of maritime services and ship repair.
Netherlands’ Shipbuilding Industry Association (VNSI)
The Netherlands’ Shipbuilding Industry Association (VNSI) represents the interests of the Dutch shipbuilding and ship repair industry. VNSI supports its members in the field of labour conditions, environmental issues, education, technology, regulations, R&D, statistics and financing. Additionally VNSI works closely with other organisations that are active in the industry.
CMTI
The Centre for Maritime Technology and Innovation (CMTI) is the executive branch of the Holland Shipbuilding Associatio, situated in Rotterdam. Its goal is to realise national and European projects in the field of process innovation.
HME
HME is the project and support organisation for Holland Shipbuilding Association and is also situated in Rotterdam. HME realises projects in the field of export, innovation and education.
HME Singapore Branch
In 2012 HME Singapore Branch was founded by HME in Rotterdam to stimulate cooperation between South-East Asia and the Netherlands and vice versa. HME Singapore is located in Singapore and represents 14 Dutch maritime companies.
Holland Marine Houses
The Holland Marine Houses are exclusive representative offices for the Dutch maritime industry. They are an initiative of HME and are governed by the participating companies. The following HMHs are currently active:

SEA Europe
SEA Europe is the European Ships and Maritime Equipment Association. Originating from the fusion of EMEC, the European Marine Equipment Council, and CESA, the Community of European Shipyards' Association, its purpose is to represent the European Maritime Technology Industry as a whole. This gives the association access to a broad international and highly active network. On a national level the Holland Shipbuilding Association is associated with the Dutch Maritime Network (NML or Stichting Nederland Maritiem Land in Dutch), and on European issues is supported by its own liaison office in Brussels.
The Holland Shipbuilding Association is a branch association of FME, the largest organisation in the Netherlands representing employers and businesses in the technological industry.
