Goals / remit
| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
Öberg & Associés is the first Nordic boutique law firm specialized in EU and Competition law. The firm's competition law practice focuses on complex cases involving Swedish and European law, including state aid law, and on private enforcement of competition law.
Swedish and International clients notably seek the firm’s advice in government, regulatory and legislative issues involving competition law and market regulation. The firm has handled several cases before the EU courts representing private parties, as well as the European Commission and the Swedish Competition Authority.
Within the field of Employment law, Öberg & Associés specialises on cross-border employment matters, data protection law and the protection of trade secrets. The firm has carved out a particular niche in EU labour law and non-discrimination cases and in representing in particular Danish clients present on the Swedish market.
Our combined experience from the institutions of the European Union, the Government Offices of Sweden, international and national courts and other law firms gives us a holistic perspective of the legislative process, the political decision making procedure and court proceedings, both at the national and European level.
We can thereby help our clients to make sound business decisions in political and regulatory environments.
