Goals / remit
| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
GBTA Europe aims, through its advocacy work, to:-
•Be recognised by the European Commission, European governments and the corporate travel industry as the voice of Corporate Travel & Meetings in Europe and the ‘Go-To’ organisation when a key issue is to be discussed, arises or requires comment.
•Support our national partner association activity on a national government basis.
•Deliver additional value-add to our buyer members by representing them and challenging any activity we believe is not in their interest.
•Support and feed into global advocacy efforts of GBTA on industry affairs activity.
•Recognise that on occasion GBTA Europe will need to maintain a neutral position where there is no clear buyer benefit or position. However, we should be involved and or consulted on any decision to ensure that the buyer perspective is voiced.
•Communicate our advocacy efforts to our GBTA European members and partner member
