Goals / remit of the organisation: INTRODUCTION

Raleigh Ghana (RG) is an alumni led volunteer society, part of Raleigh International family of organisations around the world with the vision of developing and empowering youth, communities and environments through volunteerism.

STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK

VISION

RG seeks a country where opportunities will be available especially to the underprivileged youth to control and better their health, education and other safe life sustaining services.

MISSION

RG is to facilitate the creation of systems and structures that will create opportunities for the youth by assisting them to institute projects that will promote their ability to reach the heights of their potentials and be constructive members of a safe society and contribute to national development.

GOALS

Goal 1:
RG will collaborate with like-minded organizations or entities to research and design programs or projects in education, health and environment that will deliver sustainable life enhancing solutions to identify youth groups/entities.

Goal 2:
RG will collaborate with the appropriate agencies and organizations to make disaster management systems and structures more responsive to its needs through first aid services and training.

Goal 3:
RG will partner the appropriate agencies to establish Raleigh Institute of Disaster and Emergency Communication Management to train employers, employees and community members for proactive business continuity and environmental stability.

Goal 4:
RG will take part or organize activities that can possibly raise funds for other social interventions while fostering friendship and nationalism among Ghanaians and expose participants to the country’s problems and resources.

Goal 5:
RG will partner the various corporate entities, educational institutions/school and youth groups and organization to organise expeditions for them to erase stress, create learning environment, make new discoveries and create socialization or business atmosphere for participants.



Goal 6:
RG will partner local and international institutions, groups, corporate etc to recruit and supply volunteers for social intervention activities such as health, education, community, environment and forest activities.
