l'UNSPIC est le représentant des entreprises privées gestionnaires de services publics en concurrence : ses membres, fédérations professionnelles et entreprises couvrent les activités suivantes : autoroutes, eau et assainissement, collecte et traitement des déchets, efficacité énergétique, transport public, restauration collective, gestionnaires d'équipements de sports et de loisirs.
Les objectifs de l'UNSPIC sont :
- d'être l'interlocuteur des pouvoirs publics dans les domaines d'intérêt commun de ses adhérents et en particulier ceux ayant trait au cadre (législatif, règlementaire et contractuel) de gestion des S.I.E.G.
- de mieux faire connaître et promouvoir la gestion des services publics dans le cadre de partenariats publics privés (concessions ou marchés publics),
- de valoriser les réalisations de ses adhérents en termes d'efficacité économique, sociale et environnementale,
