We have aimed to include as many costs and expenditures as possible following the Register's guidelines. As a result our cost estimate to engage on EU policy making in 2012 includes: -Operating costs such as office space and expenditure -A percentage of salaries related to time spent on direct lobbying with EU institutions. -Percentage of the cost of trade associations and other organisations listed in the networking section related to the time spent on outreach with EU institutions, even when these groups have themselves reported those amounts. Finally, we have also included fees paid to trade associations whom we understand have not registered themselves.
